Comments: Good News for My Brain

I've seen about 10 out of the 100. The best of those 10 were simply movies that you know got hacked to pieces in the editing room or tinkered with by nervous studio heads who wanted to recoup on their investment. If you ever come across a bad narration track that seems tacked on, chances are a studio head insisted that the audience wouldn't be able to follow the story and ordered a narration inserted.

The other half of the 10 that I saw were just badly acted, badly directed or badly written... or all three. But the truly worst movies never make these kinds of lists-- compared to the B and C-grade crap available on cable, straight-to-video or online, all the movies on this list are the cream of the bad crop.

btw: I wonder how many of these movies were directed by Alan Smithee...

I saw 7: The Skulls, Ultraviolet (only because of my crush on Nick Chinlund), I Still Know What You Did Last Summer (love these kind of movies), Yours, Mine, & Ours (no explanation), Down To You, The Whole Ten Yards and Battlefield Earth. I can honestly say I am surprised that other Nick Chinlund movies didn't make the list, like Mr. Magoo was prime theater viewing or something. I like bad movies; I am surprised I only saw 7 of the overall 100 worst movies. Guess I shouldn't admit that a few are on my list of Netflix...

We could all follow Britney Houston's example and shave our bushes (but maybe not pose for Paparazzi).

I wish I'd had the energy to click through more than about the bottom 15. I didn't see any of those, but you never can tell about the rest.

I have only seen one, and I blame that entirely on Peter. I tried to talk him out of it, but he still made us go see Date Movie. But I'm proud to say I didn't even recognize most of these movies.

But I would like to ad Doom to the list (another Peter selection). That was not only bad, but had an extremely nauseating section when it went into video game mode and got spinny.

i love bad movies sometimes - i'd like to compare lists. and i totally agree about those ticketbastard envelopes...what the HELL!? it totally looks like junk. bright side- someone wouldn't think to steal it. Where are your seats?

btw- chocolate-covered cinnamon altoids ROCK - however, i did not need to see the ad for them every 5 movies down the list.

I saw cheaper by the dozen 2 on an airplane for free with my earphones intermittently on. yeah, pretty bad, but i truly would NOT put it in the same galaxy as some of these other titles...i mean, seriously, WHY is a black comedian dressing as an obese black woman so entertaining? people are still paying to watch that? wow.

Something tells me i saw a few minutes of Mod Squad at some point, but i might be wrong - what a crime that giovanni ribisi and claire danes both picked such a dud.

I'm THRILLED to say i didn't see any other movies on this list.
